As part of the Where We Are in Place and Time unit, we conducted a “My Luggage” activity connected to the concept of “Migration.” Students were asked to imagine what they would want to take with them in the event of migration or relocation. They depicted both tangible and intangible items they would bring in their luggage through drawings.
Afterward, they showcased their suitcases in the classroom. This activity helped reinforce the concept of “Migration” and the challenges it presents, which we explored throughout the unit.
