Our Social Solidarity and Cooperation Club invited Mr. Süleyman DEMİR, Deputy Chairman of the Ahi Culture Education and Research Department and Founder of the TAYFA Association, to our school to speak about the Ahi Brotherhood Organization. To better understand the concept of Ahi brotherhood, an introduction to Ahi Evran Veli, the founder of Anatolian Ahi brotherhood, was provided, followed by an explanation of Ahi brotherhood’s definition, purpose, principles, formation, and impacts. The social and economic dimensions of the established organization, as well as the master-apprentice relationship, were also evaluated. At the end of the session, our guest presented a demonstration of the “Kuşak” ceremony. We thank our guest for his informative and entertaining contributions to this event.
