As part of the “Where We Are in Place and Time” theme, we organized a meaningful activity with our 2nd-grade learners to reinforce their learning while developing their skills in sharing, empathy, and appreciation. In this English activity, our 2nd-grade learners researched endangered animals and designed bookmarks. They then visited our Kindergarten to gift these bookmarks. During the activity, our 2nd-grade learners read a storybook to the younger learners, played an animal-themed memory game with them, and engaged in a coloring activity together. The activity, which all learners participated in with great excitement and joy, not only raised awareness about the environment but also helped build meaningful connections within the community.
