The Character Education Week Initiative’s Partners promote character education among all PreK-12 schools as they work together to prepare students for the demands and challenges of the 21st century. They are all part of this initiative because they believe that a child’s character development is of the utmost importance.
The Character Education Week Initiative encompasses universal core ethical values essential to a healthy society, such as citizenship, respect, accountability, dedication, responsibility, caring, honesty, kindness, leadership, integrity, etc. They are inviting you to join all of them in recognizing the critical importance character education plays in the lives of students.
Our 5th grade students, Itır KABAKÇIOĞLU, Talya LOUIS, Melisa SÖZMEN and Azra KOCABAŞ, attended the annual ‘Color the World with a Character’ competition which is held every year. Under the guidance of secondary school English teachers, our students, who prepared a slogan about the ethical values they chose and drew, participated by working on the themes of ‘honesty’, ‘leadership’ and ‘responsibility’.
We would like to thank all our students and wish them success.’
