Materials that conduct electricity well are called “electrical conductors”, and materials that do not conduct electricity well are called “electrical insulators”. In many electronic devices that we use in our daily life, there are many insulators as well as conductors. Thanks to the “control pen” we made with our 6th grade students, we classified materials as conductors and insulators and tested whether the items we use in our daily life are conductive.
