Lenses that collect the parallel light beam falling on them at one point are called convex lenses. Our “Inventors Club” students observed that a fire could be lit in a short time without using a tool like a match
or lighter with the help of sunlight. Due to its feature of gathering at the focal point that convex lenses have, “Forest Fires” can be seen as a result of interaction of materials released to nature such as glass and plastic, paper, with soil, tree leaves and similar objects. In order to prevent this situation and to keep the oxygen level in balance, recycling products such as glass and plastic will be a more reliable way.
