11th grade students from Özel Mürüvvet Evyap College and Science High School visited the Aşiyan Museum, which is the house where Tevfik Fikret lived between 1906 and 1915 and was later converted into a museum, accompanied by their Turkish Language and Literature teachers. At the museum, students saw the poet’s house with its magnificent sea view, which also inspired Tevfik Fikret’s works. They had the opportunity to grasp the poet’s spirit and personality by seeing his wax statue, personal belongings, paintings he created, and his books, which they had previously studied theoretically in class. Additionally, they learned about the historical and social conditions of the era. With contributions from museum staff and their teachers, the students had an informative and enjoyable literary excursion.
