SCHOOL REGISTRATION

CRITERIA FOR ADMISSIONS

Kindergarten

As of 01.09.2020, registration for learners completing 36 months of age can be carried out.

Registration can be carried out once a positive response has been received by the Psychological Counselling and Guidance unit.

Primary School

A “school maturity test” is conducted to learners who wish to register for 1st grade.

A “School Acceptance Exam” is applied to 4th grade learners.  Learners are required to provide correct answers to at least 50% of the questions.

Registration for 1st, 2nd, 3rd and 4th grades are possible after a positive interview outcome conducted by the Psychological Counselling and Guidance unit.

Secondary School

A “School Acceptance Exam” is applied to 5th, 7th and 8th grade learners.  Learners are required to provide correct answers to at least 50% of the questions.

Registration to 5th, 7th and 8th grade is possible after a positive interview outcome conducted by the Psychological Counselling and Guidance unit.

High School

Registration for 9th grade is evaluated with the High School Entrance Exam result (LGS) or the School Acceptance Exam result.  Learners are required to provide correct answers to at least 50% of the questions.

A “School Acceptance Exam” is applied to learners who wish to register to an intermediary grade.

A positive outcome of the interviews conducted by the Psychological Counselling and Guidance unit for all grades is required for registration.
