Secondary School Counseling Department organized a trip to the “Dialogue Museum in Darkness and Silence” for our students as part of the “White Cane Week for the Visually Impaired”. In our trip, where we had the chance to leave behind our prejudices about ourselves and our environment, our students toured the exhibition in the company of visually and hearing impaired guides. It was a day when they experienced how they lived in Istanbul by “hearing, touching, smelling” on an ordinary day and gained awareness.
