In commemoration of the day when the title of “Gazi” was conferred upon Mustafa Kemal Atatürk by the Grand National Assembly of Turkey on September 19, 1921, we held a program for “Veterans Day” in the Hedise Evyap Conference Hall, attended by all our secondary school students, as a reflection of our state’s respect for our heroic veterans.
